Job summary

Linde plc seeks a field and control-station operator to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation of process units and equipment. You will monitor performance, coordinate maintenance, and communicate with customers and facility management to keep products and process status up to date.

The role requires strict adherence to safety programs, PPE usage, lockout/tagout, and readiness for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Commitment to personal safety and environmental accountability.
• Experience wearing PPE and following lockout/tagout policies.
• Ability to follow safety programs and participate in inspections.
• Ability to handle emergency preparedness and incident reporting.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control process units and equipment in the field and from the control station to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Monitor plant performance, identify potential issues, and maintain operational efficiency.
• Coordinate work requests, permits, and equipment isolations for safe maintenance and return to normal operations.
• Communicate with customers and facility management regarding product conditions and process status.
• Maintain production records and follow standard operating procedures for startup and shutdown to ensure reliability.
