Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a Field Service Operator to ensure safe, reliable operation of nitrogen plants at customer sites. You will troubleshoot field issues, perform calibrations on compressors and control systems, and coordinate resources to support plant activities with minimal supervision.

The role requires strong safety awareness, instrument and controls expertise, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in a technical field preferred.
• Two to five years of operations experience in air separation or similar process control environments.
• Expertise in instrumentation, controls, and maintenance of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nitrogen-producing plants at customer sites.
• Solve field site issues while maintaining and operating air separation plants with minimal supervision.
• Interact with customers across production plant types, providing guidance and communication.
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance at each plant location.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems.
• Manage time to complete operations and maintenance tasks; troubleshoot plant problems.
• Coordinate contractors and resources to support plant activities, audits, and administrative requirements while driving efficiency through planning and project management.
