Job summary

Kosmos is seeking a Field Process Engineer to qualify and technically accept our semiconductor equipment at customer sites. You will act as a liaison between customers and company teams throughout the acceptance process and support process optimization and training after acceptance.

The role requires 75% travel domestically and internationally, with preference for candidates near major airports. Strong background in engineering and data analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Background in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
• Experience with statistical analysis for processing data.
• Ability to write formal reports documenting field activities.
• Ability to make technical presentations to customers.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 75%.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Implement equipment (semiconductor) process recipes and process parameters according to customer specifications.
• Provide sustainable process support at selected key and strategic customers.
• Coordinate customer sample evaluations on various AIXTRON equipment located at customer sites and/or application labs.
• Define and describe equipment process performance specifications for customer applications by evaluating customer process methods, facilities, materials, patterns, measurement equipment and procedures.
• Provide support for sales department including demonstrations and information on technical and design issues.
• Assist with installation, technical system check, and commissioning of equipment (if necessary, worldwide).
• Communicate with customers in order to analyze specific needs and requirements within the after sales operations
