Job summary

Equipment Manufacturing, a leading provider of semiconductor deposition equipment, seeks a Field Process Engineer to qualify processes and support customers at site. You will act as a liaison between customers and all company teams during acceptance and later assist with process optimization and training.

Travel up to 75% domestically and internationally is required; preferred locations include near major airports.

Qualifications

• Prefer a background in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using statistical analysis programs for gathering and analyzing process data related to equipment performance specifications.
• Ability to write formal reports to document field activities
• Ability to make technical presentations in front of customers
• Ability to learn semiconductor processing to assist customers with integration
• Must be willing to travel internationally and domestically up to 75% of the time
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Implement equipment (semiconductor) process recipes and process parameters according to customer specifications
• Provide sustainable process support at selected key and strategic customers
• Coordinate customer sample evaluations on various AIXTRON equipment located at customer sites and/or application labs
• Define and describe equipment process performance specifications for customer applications by evaluating customer process methods, facilities, materials, patterns, measurement equipment and procedures.
• Provide support for sales department including demonstrations and information on technical and design issues
• Assists with the installation, technical system check, and commissioning of equipment (if necessary, worldwide)
• Communicate with customers in order to analyze specific needs and requirements within the after sales operations
