Job summary

Whataburger is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to keep restaurants running safely and reliably across the Corpus Christi area. You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen systems, ensuring timely repairs and adherence to brand standards.

The role requires travel to multiple locations, working full-time hours (approximately 42 per week), and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen and facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support an average of 40-45 restaurants.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and facility systems.
• Complete routine maintenance tasks and service calls to support daily operations.
• Diagnose issues and escalate complex repairs as needed.
• Travel regularly to partner with Operations and support field leadership.
