Job summary

Empire Southwest seeks seasoned shop and field technicians/mechanics to join our large, family-owned team. You will troubleshoot, repair, recondition, and service generators, switchgear, ATS, and engines in field environments, including hyperscale data centers. Work 1st/Day shifts in-field with overtime and remote assignments as needed.

A valid driver’s license, English proficiency, and safety priority are required; DOT licensing and tests may apply. CDL not required for all roles.

Qualifications

• Six months of related experience in a similar role and environment.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Must maintain safety as a priority in the work environment.
• Must complete a skills assessment (eTRAIN test).
• Valid driver’s license and own tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair generators, switchgear, ATS, electrical systems, and engines in field environments.
• Prepare service reports and manage repair costs.
• Travel to remote locations as needed and work overtime as required.
• Maintain company equipment in good condition and ensure safety at all times.
