Job summary

Energy Systems in Bend, OR is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and emergency repairs on generators, including after-hours service. You will travel locally to service calls and create reports in FieldServio, while adhering to NFPA and EPA regulations for EPSS and related systems.

The role requires 1 year of mechanical experience with power generation or diesel engines, knowledge of transfer switch operations, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of mechanical experience with power generation or diesel engines.
• Knowledge of power generation equipment and transfer switch operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled and emergency repairs of generators during and after hours as directed.
• Report faults and unusual situations to the service manager promptly.
• Stay current on NFPA and EPA regulations for EPSS and related systems.
• Travel locally for service calls with some overnight work.
