Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) specializes in end-to-end power solutions for mission critical environments. The Field Assembly and Installation team installs and maintains industrial power systems in manufacturing plants, power stations and construction sites, troubleshooting and resolving issues with engineers and site management.

Adherence to safety rules and company policies is required. Position emphasizes on-site fabrication, diagnostics and repair, with strong emphasis on blueprints,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a millwright or industrial electrician is preferred.
• Experience working in adverse conditions (weather, high pressure, heights) is preferred.
• Broad mechanical & assembly experience with fuel/exhaust systems and piping is preferred.
• Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Able to work independently or in a small team and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site assembly, installation, diagnostics, testing and repair of power system components.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and address manufacturing imperfections.
• Fabricate and install custom parts or components as needed.
• Use hand and power tools, welding equipment and precision instruments.
• Review service orders and coordinate field service appointments.
• Communicate issues to engineers and service teams and implement troubleshooting plans.
