Job summary

N C Power Systems, based in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a Power Generation Solutions Sales Representative to identify, configure, quote, and sell Caterpillar standby and prime power solutions, including large generators and related equipment.

The role emphasizes field visits, customer collaboration, and cross-functional coordination to craft comprehensive power generation solutions that keep operations running.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building and customer communication skills.
• Ability to travel to customer locations and job sites.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to manage a territory, follow up consistently, and maintain accurate CRM information.
• Comfort learning technical products, systems, and customer applications.

• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and contractors through frequent in-person sales calls.
• Develop and grow relationships with end users and electrical contractors.
• Prospect for new accounts and new project opportunities.
• Travel to customer locations and job sites throughout the territory.
• Configure and quote custom emergency and prime power solutions.
• Review vendor and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and completeness.
