MSHS Pacific Power Group is seeking a Field Power Generation Technician in Anchorage, AK. The position offers a compensation ranging from $35.50 to $48.00 per hour, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance for qualified individuals.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands‑on experience with generator systems, preferably field‑based.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical systems, AVRs, transfer switches, and switchgear.
• Capable of engine overhauls and using diagnostic tools independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul diesel and gaseous generator systems in the field.
• Conduct load bank testing, performance assessments, and system upgrades.
• Accurately document service reports and maintain compliance with safety protocols.

Skills

Hands‑on experience with generator systems
