Job summary

Handsome Brook Farms is seeking a Flock Advisor to join our field-based team servicing farms in the Arkansas region. You’ll visit farms, monitor flock performance, and provide guidance to producers to keep operations aligned with our standards.

You’ll collaborate with Live Operations, Feed, Compliance, and Sustainability, support audits, onboard new producers, and assist with flock placements and depopulations, requiring travel and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with poultry (preferably layers) or on farms.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts with little supervision.
• Fast problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
• High initiative and proactive work style.
• Knowledge of animal welfare standards and biosecurity regulations.

Responsibilities

• Farm & Producer Support: Build relationships with producers through on-farm visits and hands-on support during flock cycles.
• Production Monitoring & Reporting: Collect and review key production data and communicate trends to leadership.
• Feed Management: Coordinate feed ordering and address quality or performance concerns with the Feed team.
• Compliance & Biosecurity: Oversee biosecurity, organic standards, and audits; ensure corrective actions.
• New Producer & Flock Support: Onboard new producers and support during new flock placements and depopulations.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Align production, feed, pasture, and compliance matters with department leads.
