Job summary

Symbotic seeks an Integration Specialist I to start up, commission, test PLC-controlled equipment, and perform systems integration at customer sites. You will work with electrical technicians to bring up control cabinets, load PLC software, and run tests to verify functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, robotics, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in PLC systems, robotics, and industrial networks.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and HMI systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and basic SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in commissioning PLC-controlled equipment at customer sites and startup control cabinets.
• Conduct basic hardware tests to verify system performance against project specs.
• Test system integration with the customer’s WMS and report findings.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware/software with guidance from seniors.
• Develop understanding of software/hardware used in commissioning and pursue ongoing training.
• Support startup, commissioning, and testing to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, software, and customer support to ensure smooth commissioning.
