Job summary

HOA Controls LLC is seeking a hands-on PLC programmer to support customer sites with minimal guidance. This field-focused role combines electrical troubleshooting with strong programming skills to keep automation systems running.

You will travel about one week per month to commission, diagnose, and optimize Allen-Bradley PLCs and VFDs, work with limited documentation, and diagnose both hardware and software faults in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

Hands‑on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (required).
Ladder logic programming proficiency (required).
VFD programming experience (required).
Basic networking skills including assigning/changing IP addresses, pinging devices, EtherNet/IP communication, and Modbus.
Ability to troubleshoot both electrical hardware and PLC software.
Comfortable working independently with little supervision.
Willing to travel approximately 1 week per month.
