Job summary

Worley on the U.S. construction site is seeking a Piping/Mechanical Coordinator to lead field coordination of mechanical and piping activities, ensuring safe, efficient execution aligned with project plans, schedules, and quality requirements.

You will oversee forepersons and craft personnel, support workforce planning, monitor productivity, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to remove barriers and drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in mechanical, piping, industrial construction
• Journeyman trade certification as required by local regulations
• Experience coordinating craft labor and subcontractors in industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of piping systems and mechanical equipment installation
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documentation

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and piping construction activities to support project schedules and priorities
• Provide day-to-day leadership to forepersons and trade personnel within assigned areas
• Support workforce planning to ensure adequate labor resources
• Coordinate workface planning to improve productivity and readiness
• Monitor productivity, labor utilization, and performance against objectives
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, project controls, and construction management teams to remove obstacles
• Support installation, testing, mechanical completion, and turnover activities
• Identify and resolve field-related challenges and productivity constraints
• Prepare progress updates and construction status reports for leadership
