Job summary

Par Pacific in Tacoma, WA seeks a Midstream Logistics Pipeline Technician to support safe, reliable pipeline operations. You will operate and maintain pipeline systems, monitor flows and pressures, and respond to alarms in coordination with the control center.

The role requires hands-on field work, strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, and on-call readiness, with responsibilities including maintenance, inspections, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or degree in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation discipline preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to read P&IDs, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with CMMS systems, SCADA, PLCs, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain pipeline systems, stations, and equipment.
• Respond to alarms, abnormal conditions, and emergency events in coordination with the control center.
• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and reporting to ensure safety and compliance.
