Job summary

Plains is seeking a Pipeliner I to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on pipeline assets in a field-based role. The position involves working outdoors in extreme heat/cold with safety gear and potential callouts for Plains operations and emergencies.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years of related experience, English proficiency, and ability to read maps and schematics. Strong safety record and PHMSA/OSHA familiarity are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience at the prior level.
• Ability to read and interpret pipeline maps, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Must have an outstanding safety record and pass required training.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on pipeline assets with minimal supervision.
• Carry out routine and non-routine maintenance of facilities and pipelines.
• Install and remove pipeline pigs and assist with ILI tool activities.
• Respond to 24/7 emergency requests and be available for callouts.
