We are seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to support long-term care facilities, under the Pharmacist In Charge or Lead Travel Pharmacy Technician. You will fill ADS restocks, add medications, prep and organize new ADS machines, perform cycle counts, and generate reports using myQlink and OmniCenter.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician with current license.
• Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care preferred.
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis/Omnicell).
• Proficient data entry, ADS troubleshooting, and multiple programs.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Basic math and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Fill ADS restocks for facilities.
• Add medications into the ADS.
• Analyze and adjust quantities for facility ADS.
• Assist in troubleshooting ADS issues.
• Set up and prefill new ADS machines.
• Prepack medications.
• Handle foil medications into blister packs.
• Maintain communication with PIC, Lead and pharmacy staff.
• Use reporting apps (myQlink, OmniCenter).
• Identify and address discrepancies for proper billing.
• Replace potentially expiring inventory.
• Restock depleted inventory.
• Monthly audits (cycle count).
• Provide reports for the facility.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Able to work independently under the direction of the Pharmacist In Charge or Lead Travel Pharmacy Technician
• Fills Automated Dispensing System restocks for Facilities
• Adds medications into the Automatic Dispensing System (ADS)
• Analyzes and adjusts quantities for different facility ADS
• Assist with trouble shoot ADS issues
• Organize setting up and prefill new ADS machines
• Prepacks medications
• Handle foils medication into blister cards
• Maintain active communication with PIC and Lead and pharmacy staff
• Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter)
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing
• Replace potentially expiring inventory
• Restock depleted inventor
• Monthly audits (cycle count)
• Provide reports for the facility
• Complete any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician required
• Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred
• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Basic math and analytical skills

Monday - Friday

8:00am-4:30pm
