Job summary

Watson Truck & Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Parts Division in Hobbs, NM. You will develop new business, nurture customer relationships, and grow parts sales across the assigned territory.

You will work with the Parts and Service departments to meet sales targets, provide product knowledge, pricing information, and excellent service, including on-site visits, phone outreach, and follow-ups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years outside sales experience in truck/auto/industrial equipment or related fields.
• Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with business software applications.
• Good numerical reasoning and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
• Establish and achieve sales goals and customer growth objectives.
• Conduct regular customer visits and sales calls within the assigned territory.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts, products, and solutions.
• Solicit parts sales through customer visits, phone calls, and other business development activities.
• Deliver and pick up parts as necessary to support customer requirements.
• Maintain thorough understanding of parts inventory, pricing, and availability.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to ensure timely order fulfillment and satisfaction.
• Work with service, sales, and parts personnel to support company objectives.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities.
