Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial is seeking a Paramedic to provide advanced emergency medical care and transport to critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.

You will rapidly assess scenes, evaluate conditions, administer life-saving interventions, and operate ambulances safely while documenting care and communicating clearly with patients, families, and teammates to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Paramedic Science.
• EMT Paramedic: TN upon hire.
• Driver's License: TN upon hire.
• CPR (BLS) within 14 days.
• ACLS within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical treatment and transport to the sick and injured under department protocols.
• Document all patient care in the approved Patient Care Report program.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed by end of shift.
• Maintain equipment readiness and fully stocked ambulance.
• Report deficiencies to a supervisor and restock as needed.
• Attend required education deemed necessary by leadership.
