Job summary

CHI St. Vincent, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Paramedic to provide advanced emergency medical care and transport for critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.

You will rapidly assess scenes, evaluate conditions, and administer life-saving interventions while operating emergency vehicles and documenting care. Strong clinical skills, critical thinking under stress, and compassionate communication are essential in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved paramedic program or college equivalent.
• EMT-Paramedic certification in AR, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency medical care and transport to critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
• Rapidly assess scenes, evaluate conditions, and administer life-saving interventions.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and document care.
• Collaborate with RN’s, physicians, and other team members as part of the comprehensive care team.
• Adhere to medical direction and nursing supervision for skills and procedures.
• Perform reassessments and evaluations on appropriate patient groups.
