CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Paramedic to deliver safe, high-quality patient care within the clinic and emergency settings. You will operate under the medical director's plan, collaborate with the healthcare team, and adhere to established policies and scope of practice.

The role requires active Paramedic certification, 3+ years of ED or prehospital experience, and BLS/ACLS; NRP is preferred for certain facilities and required within 6 months of hire for others.

Competenze

• Paramedic certification is required.
• Three (3) years of experience as a Paramedic in ED or emergency prehospital settings.
• Current Paramedic license issued by the state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months for free-standing EDs; preferred elsewhere.

Mansioni

• Document all tasks, observations, and procedures accurately in patient records.
• Maintain thorough, confidential patient charts and records.
• Assist physicians with procedures and emergencies as scope allows (sedation, line insertions, chest procedures, etc.).
• Perform IV initiation/removal and administer medications.
• Perform 12-lead EKGs and monitor telemetry rhythms.
• Follow hospital policies, standards of care, and regulatory guidelines.
