Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, construction management, or a related field is a plus
• Previous experience in the construction industry is required
• Experience in a sales or customer service role is required. You should have a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, build relationships, and address customer need

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, market, and sell concrete accessories, Products, Site & Pipe Products, Waterworks, Special Services, Equipment & Supplies, Equipment Rentals, Instrumentation, Landscape Products, and other products and services that Superior has available to sell
• Maintain and service assigned customers while also generating new business by obtaining new customers in the core operating area
• Generate new business by building relationships with qualified contractors while maintaining a professional rapport with these customers
• Become proficient at reading and interpreting project plans and specifications to prepare quotations in the Eclipse ERP system
• Complete a 3-4 week training period with product managers, estimators, dispatchers, and yard personnel and take lead on self-training thereafter
• Maintain accurate call reports and customer activity in the CRM system, including visits and opportunities
