Job summary

Lynker Corporation is seeking a qualified Operations Technician to support a contract with NOAA Research Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (OER). These are full-time positions that may be performed on-site or remotely, with anticipated travel for meetings, workshops, and field activities.

Hiring is contingent on contract award. The contractor shall provide technical and administrative services for the planning, coordination, and execution of field season operations and regulatory

Responsibilities

• Field Season Planning and Compliance: Coordinate OER field season timeline and permits documentation to ensure compliance.
• Operational Models and Procedures: Develop models and procedures for field operations and NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer related to compliance.
• Environmental Compliance and Portfolio Expansion: Plan explorations with partners and refine procedures for environmental compliance.
• Expedition Program and Planning Services: Provide technical services for expedition planning and field operations.
• Project Goal Alignment: Organize field activities to meet science, education, outreach and data goals.
• Field Season Documentation and Equipment Management: Document field activities and manage equipment for expeditions.
