Qualifications

• One year of experience as Highway Maintenance Coordinator or Transportation Construction Manager 1 equivalent.
• Six years of technical highway maintenance/construction experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance programs, estimates, and schedules for surface treatment, patching, snow removal, and signage.
• Direct general and specialized crews performing highway and bridge maintenance and minor construction tasks.
• Coordinate resource needs and set project priorities with local officials.
• Conduct inspections of maintenance work and coordinate reviews of contract activities.
• Lead staff, assign tasks, perform reviews, and address workplace concerns.
• Manage incident and emergency operations within the assigned county area.
