  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, process improvement, application support, project delivery, or a related role.
  • Working knowledge of business analysis practices, requirements lifecycle management, process mapping, testing, and solution delivery.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, facilitation, organization, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments, and work effectively in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, workflows, and information needs.
  • Plan and conduct interviews, working sessions, observation activities, and requirements workshops.
  • Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements.
  • Write clear user stories, business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Trace requirements through design, development, testing, and implementation to help ensure intended outcomes are delivered.
  • Identify requirement gaps, conflicts, dependencies, assumptions, and risks, and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Maintain organized and current analysis documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, developers, and vendors to translate requirements into workable solutions.
  • Participate in solution reviews, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and release-readiness activities.
  • Support existing business applications by assisting with issue analysis, enhancement definition, prioritization, testing, and user communication.
  • Perform initial problem analysis, document reproducible issues, assess business impact, and coordinate escalation when needed.
  • Balance immediate operational needs with longer-term process, application, and enterprise architecture objectives.
  • Develop test scenarios and expected results based on approved requirements and business processes.
  • Coordinate and support system testing and User Acceptance Testing, including test preparation, execution tracking, defect clarification, and evidence collection.
  • Validate that delivered functionality meets documented requirements and is ready for business use.
  • Assist with implementation planning, business readiness, data validation, training content, job aids, and end-user communications.
  • Provide post-implementation support and gather feedback to identify stabilization or improvement needs.
  • Build effective working relationships with business users, subject matter experts, technology teams, and external partners.
  • Facilitate meetings with clear objectives, structured discussion, documented decisions, and assigned follow-up actions.
  • Communicate analysis findings, options, recommendations, risks, issues, and status in language appropriate for business and technical audiences.
  • Organize assigned work, manage priorities and deadlines, and provide timely visibility to risks or dependencies.
  • Contribute to project planning, estimation, change control, and delivery governance as requested.
  • Analyze business data to validate requirements, investigate issues, identify trends, and support decision-making.
  • Define data, reporting, and dashboard requirements in partnership with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Assist with data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and data-quality improvement activities.
  • Confirm that reports and metrics use clear definitions and align with the intended business process and outcome.
