Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst II in Plymouth, MN, with hybrid work in the Minneapolis area. The role supports strategic initiatives, data analysis, reporting, and program execution within the SCVM organization.

You will collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and integration teams to develop dashboards, analyze metrics, and drive cost savings through process improvements and supplier engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Economics.
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data analysis for reports and presenting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support one or more SCVM categories by enhancing or developing processes and M&A integration activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, process documentation, and performance metrics.
• Assist sourcing and procurement activities including supplier assessments, RFQ development, bid analysis, and contract administration.
• Lead stakeholder workshops, training, and collaboration sessions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and supply chain leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support supplier performance management, supplier development, contract lifecycle management, and market intelligence.

The position plays a key role in supporting strategic initiatives, process improvement efforts, data analysis, reporting, and program execution across Supply Chain programs. What you will do:

Primary responsibilities will support one or more of the Five Categories of SCVM by enhancing or developing processes in the Sourcing Operations, Operational Capability, Supplier Compliance & Sustainability, Financial Integration, and Data Systems Enablement categories, including M&A integration activities.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and integration stakeholders to provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and business integrations.

Analyze business processes, supplier performance metrics, operational data, and market intelligence to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, value creation, and risk mitigation.

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, process documentation, standard work, performance metrics, and business insights that support informed decision-making, strategic objectives, and integration progress tracking.

Support sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier assessments, RFQ development, bid analysis, supplier selection, contract administration, implementation activities, and supplier integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.

Lead stakeholder workshops, training, and collaboration sessions.

Establish and maintain collaborative and constructive relationships with suppliers, functional managers, and supply chain leadership to understand current and future business needs and continuous improvement opportunities.

Support initiatives related to supplier performance management, supplier development, contract lifecycle management, risk management, and market intelligence.

Other Duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Economics.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

2 + years of experience working in Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as well as Fluid Experience analyzing data, developing reports, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Operations.

3+ Years of Supply Chain experience.

Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, business integrations, system implementations, or large-scale cross-functional transformation initiatives.

The range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls is $66,000.00 - $108,800 in Minnesota. Typical pay range is $85,000 to $93,000 per year. Individual pay rate will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
