Job summary

TerraTherm, Inc. is seeking a mechanically skilled Operator to safely operate vapor and liquid treatment systems on remediation projects.

This temporary role requires willingness to travel and work on active sites across the United States, with responsibilities spanning monitoring, data collection, alarms, maintenance, and coordination with project teams. Opportunites for training and hands-on experience with TerraTherm technologies are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet the company’s driving requirements.
• Experience with mechanical systems, electrical maintenance, controls, industrial equipment, process operations, treatment systems, or related fieldwork.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment and annual medical surveillance examinations, drug and alcohol screenings, respirator clearance, and project-site access requirements.
• Ability to complete required HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR/AED, respirator fit testing, safety orientation, and project-specific training.
• Ability to read and follow operating procedures, safety documents, equipment manuals, process flow diagrams, labels, and basic electrical or mechanical drawings.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, electronic forms, HMI interfaces, training, and PDF documents.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively, work rotational assignments, and participate in on-call or after-hours alarm coverage.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor vapor and liquid treatment equipment.
• Perform routine system rounds, inspections, sampling, meter readings, and data collection.
• Review and report abnormal readings or changing conditions promptly.
• Monitor alarms and interlocks, respond within project timeframes.
• Perform cleaning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and component replacements.
• Maintain operator logs, sampling records, and maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with site lead, Project Engineer, and Project Manager.
• Support construction, startups, shutdowns, and demobilization as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and secure tools and supplies.
