MAIN FUNCTIONS

Operate equipment and wells

Apply operating and safety procedures to meet daily operational plans, reduce equipment failure, and ensure efficient resource management.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Implement daily work objectives, maintain housekeeping, and adhere to safety, health, environmental, and security standards.
2. Participate actively in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings, reporting issues as required.
3. Monitor wells and equipment continuously to identify and implement corrective and optimization actions, ensuring reliable, efficient, and safe operations.
4. Perform simple maintenance activities as an Equipment Care Technician using maintenance skills.
5. Report system outages, alarms, emergencies, or shutdowns promptly.
6. Provide detailed and accurate shift change reports to ensure operational continuity.
7. Coordinate and monitor maintenance tasks according to planning schedules.
8. Record all relevant operational events, abnormal situations, or deviations in the logbook.
9. Collect product samples for laboratory analysis and perform field tests.
10. Participate actively in emergency response activities.
11. Report incidents internally and escalate as per Incident Reporting Guidelines.
12. Keep Operations Shift Supervisor informed about operational activities.
13. Maintain good communication within the team to address issues effectively.
14. Provide basic information about well production problems, current rates, and conditions.
15. Ensure thorough diagnostics before requesting Well Work interventions.
16. Maintain wellhead and surface equipment in good working order before Well Work operations.
17. Support ongoing Well Work operations as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Completed secondary education with previous experience as a Field Technician.
