MAIN FUNCTIONS

Operate equipment and wells

Apply operating and safety procedures to meet daily operational plans, reduce equipment failure, and ensure efficient resource management.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Implement daily work objectives, maintain housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security standards.
2. Participate actively in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings, reporting issues as needed.
3. Monitor wells and equipment continuously to identify and implement corrective and optimization actions, ensuring reliable and safe operations.
4. Perform simple maintenance activities as an Equipment Care Technician.
5. Report system alarms, emergencies, or shutdowns promptly.
6. Provide detailed shift change information to ensure operational continuity.
7. Coordinate and monitor maintenance activities according to planning.
8. Record operational events and abnormal situations in the logbook.
9. Collect product samples for laboratory analysis and perform field tests.
10. Participate in emergency response activities and report incidents according to guidelines.
11. Keep Operations Shift Supervisor informed of all activities.
12. Maintain good communication within the team to address issues effectively.
13. Provide facts regarding well production problems, current rates, and conditions.
14. Ensure thorough diagnostics before requesting Well Work interventions.
15. Maintain wellhead and surface equipment in good condition prior to Well Work operations.
16. Support ongoing Well Work operations as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Secondary education completed; previous experience as a Field Technician preferred.
