Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited education institution.
• Live within a 60-minute commute from their designated work location.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record to drive company and personal vehicles.
• Willingness to work 8- and 12-hour rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends as required.
• Strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and a commitment to excellence.
• Ability to complete Colonial’s NexOp Program and operator qualifications.
• Able to be qualified on two or more consoles.
• Completion of NexOp Skill Sets I, II and III; Skill Set IV.
• Adhere to policies and demonstrate Colonial’s core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence.
• Self-motivated and growth-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Participate in our NexGen Training Program to build technical skills and hands-on experience.
• Monitor pipeline systems, perform inspections, launch and receive pipeline internal tools, and perform minor maintenance.
• At higher levels, guide junior team members, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Perform covered tasks under 49 CFR 195.501(b) and respond to abnormal operating conditions.
