Job summary

Colonial Pipeline Company in Baton Rouge, LA seeks Field Operator Associates I and II to monitor pipeline systems, perform inspections, and support safe, efficient transport of refined products.

You will participate in NexGen/NexOp training, qualify on multiple consoles, and work 8–12 hour rotating shifts, including holidays. A strong safety record and a drive to grow with a national energy leader are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Live within a 60-minute commute of the work location.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work 8- or 12-hour rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Strong work ethic and safety-first mindset.
• Ability to complete NexOp Program and operator qualifications.
• Qualified on two or more consoles.
• Proficiency in NexOp Skill Sets I–III and completion of IV.

• Self-motivated and growth-focused.

Responsibilities

• Participate in NexGen Training to build skills and experience.
• Monitor pipeline systems, perform inspections, and conduct minor maintenance.
• At higher levels, guide junior team members and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
