Job summary

Colonial Pipeline Company is hiring Pipeline Field Operators in Houston, TX to help ensure safe, reliable transport of refined petroleum products. The role offers hands-on training, on-the-job experience, and a path to operator qualifications.

Candidates should be safety-focused, able to work 8- or 12-hour rotating shifts, and complete NexOp program. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Live within a 60-minute commute from Houston work location.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work 8- and 12-hour rotating shifts, holidays and weekends.
• Must complete Colonial’s NexOp Program and operator qualifications.
• Must be physically able to lift 25 lbs, traverse uneven terrain, climb ladders and stairs, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to distinguish colors and detect petroleum products by smell.
• Subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
