Job summary

Baker Hughes Holdings LLC in Akron, OH is seeking a Wireline Field Operator to perform pre-job checks, rigging-up and down, maintain tools, and ensure accurate records.

You will work at well sites, service mechanical devices, perforate cable heads, and maintain customer relations while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver's license; CDL is preferred, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• CDL Class A or B is preferred or able to obtain one within 6 months.
• Ability to work on-call 24x7 and at well sites for extended periods.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a Federal background check.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to obtain ATF explosives certification.
• Must hold a valid and unexpired Driver's License.
• Sign on bonus of $2,500 offered.

Responsibilities

• Preparing for jobs and performing tool maintenance, pre-job and post-job tool checkout.
• Rigging-up and rigging-down equipment at the well site.
• Service mechanical devices and building logging cable heads
• Perforating cable heads and maintenance on the tools
• Maintaining well site/DOT records and communications as required by District Manager
• Completing job-related paperwork and other records for self and assigned crew
• Promoting and maintaining good customer relations
• Receiving instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on well site activity
• Driving company vehicles in a safe manner while observing Company and government regulations
