Job summary

Williams Companies in New Albany, OH seeks a mechanically-focused Operations Technician to maintain gas turbines, high-speed engines, and power distribution systems. You’ll inspect equipment, diagnose issues, and support safety and compliance in a dynamic energy environment.

You will collaborate with a team, read drawings, manage maintenance records, and participate in preventive programs while traveling between locations and working 10–12 hour shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid State Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel between sites.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions and elevated areas with PPE.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and inspections of turbines, engines, generators and related equipment.
• Analyze data and collaborate with team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Follow procedures to ensure safe, compliant facility operations.
• Maintain records and logs; assist with preventive maintenance.
• Support construction initiatives and participate in site improvements.
• Be available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
