Job summary

Targa Resources in Hawaii seeks a Field Technician to monitor and optimize field treating and compressor operations, ensuring safe work practices and reliable gas processing. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, coordination with field teams, and adherence to PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Interpersonal communication skills to interface with teams, personnel, and vendors.
Strong work ethic with ability to work with minimal supervision.
Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to call outs.
Adhere to PPE guidelines and maintain regular attendance.

Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize Field Treating/Compressor Operations to improve throughput and gas quality.
Work 12-hour rotating shifts, including some weekends and holidays (nights).
Perform routine shutdowns/startups and emergency procedures when required.
Support Plant Operations at field Treater(s) and/or field compressor stations.
Train co-workers in safe and proper procedures.
Install equipment such as pumps, motors, and valves and perform general maintenance when needed.
