Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a Pipeline Technician to safely operate field gathering and pipeline systems and support compression facilities and processing plants. The role involves coordinating with contractors, performing One Call locates, and assisting pigging operations with proper documentation.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of related work experience, an associate degree in pipeline technology or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Execute maintenance activities related to plant maintenance and operation.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays and respond to callouts.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in changing climate conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate field gathering and pipeline systems.
• Perform pipeline locates and monitor contractor activity around pipelines.
• Perform One Call locates and related notifications.
• Assist pigging operations and document procedures.
• Manage site inventory (glycol, methanol, NGLs, produced water).
• Monitor flow rates, volumes, and pipeline conditions.
