Job summary

Axiom Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Technician to support the planning, coordination, and execution of field season operations and regulatory compliance within NOAA-related expeditions.

You will contribute to developing operations models and procedures, coordinate permits and consultations, and collaborate with internal and external partners to document activities and expand program scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 4-6+ years of experience in field operations or planning.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field season planning and ensure permits and consultations are completed.
• Develop operations models and procedures for compliance and analyses.
• Coordinate with partners to plan explorations and expand the program portfolio.
• Provide technical services for expedition planning and documentation.
• Align field activities with project science, education, outreach, and data goals.
• Document field season activities and manage equipment used for expeditions.
