Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the Area Manager in terminal operations, including remote locations and booster stations, to ensure safe and efficient pipeline operations. This role develops leadership, analytical and decision-making skills to progress toward an Area Manager position.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading railcars, tank transfers, SCADA operation, and adherence to environmental, health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in terminal operations or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass safety training/certifications and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• As a Terminal Operator, ensure the daily terminal operations meet company and customer needs.
• Load/unload product from railcars to storage tanks.
• Unload crude oil from railcars to pipeline.
• Perform railcar switching activities and locomotive operator duties.
• Assist with tank lineups for railcar transfers and hook up piping and valves.
• Operate SCADA system for automated transfers and monitor safety procedures.
• Maintain compliance with EH&S policies, work policies, and checklists.
