Job summary

Modaxo is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to oversee Washington DOT program field deployments and supervise Mobile Operators. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation, maintaining vehicle readiness and adherence to contract requirements.

The role requires leadership in field environments, the ability to coordinate with maintenance, scheduling, and compliance teams, and a commitment to safety and quality assurance. Travel regionally as needed to support operations and audits.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in field operations, transportation, logistics, or a related environment.
  • Experience managing distributed or mobile workforces preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety practices and regulatory compliance in field-based operations.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally/regionally and work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Mobile Operators assigned to field deployments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deployment of vehicles and traffic camera systems to designated locations.
  • Monitor field operations to ensure productivity, uptime, and adherence to schedules.
  • Respond to and resolve operational issues in real time, including equipment or personnel challenges.
  • Conduct routine audits of field activity, documentation, and system usage.
  • Maintain accurate records related to deployments, incidents, and performance metrics.
