Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass drug and alcohol screenings as required by law.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior supervisory, logistics, automotive processing, terminal, or port operations experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible for TWIC credential.
• DMV report meeting insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with management, customer service representatives, and port representatives regarding vessel arrivals and operational requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily work activities based on workload and priorities.
• Assign and monitor work for Drivers and Shipping Coordinators to ensure productivity and quality.
• Adjust staffing levels as operational needs change.
• Oversee safe off-loading and movement of vehicles per procedures.
• Verify vehicle counts and reconcile manifests.
