Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking an experienced Working Foreman to lead crews across mining and heavy civil projects. This role involves directing field activities, coordinating equipment and labor, and solving problems in real time on active sites.

Travel to project locations is required, with housing provided. The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership, a background in mining or earthworks, and familiarity with GPS/machine-control systems to ensure accurate grading and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or heavy civil construction and field leadership.
• Strong hands-on leadership and ability to direct crews in the field.
• Familiarity with GPS and machine-control systems used in earthmoving.
• Ability to read basic plans, elevations, and grade requirements.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of equipment operators and field personnel.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and production priorities.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor production and adjust plans to changing conditions.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed to support field production.
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment repairs and safety checks.
• Document daily reports, time records, and field notes.
