Job summary

Lime is seeking an Operations Specialist in Los Angeles to support daily operations, including deployment and retrieval of our fleet of electric vehicles. You’ll wear many helmets, collaborating with team members to ensure safety and efficiency in the field.

This contracted, third-party role requires a valid driver license, ability to lift heavy items, and flexible shifts. You will engage with city officials, riders, and teammates to maintain high safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver license
• Experience in a similar role with knowledge of local geography
• Ability to drive large vans and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs (35 kg) frequently
• Knowledge of cell phone apps; iOS experience preferred
• Ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
• Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart
• Strong problem-solving skills and quick repairs
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and task management
• Safety-oriented with capability to perform quality checks
• Excellent communication with team members, riders, and city officials

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van for deployment and retrieval of Lime vehicles in the local market
• Interact with the local community and assess risk to maintain safety
• Resolve city-related requests for stickers, reflectors, etc. per SLAs
• Maintain communication with the team (peers, shift lead, manager)
• Support Lime events including valet services and safety reviews
• Assist with battery management documentation, safety measures and quality checks
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs; rotate scooters and assist warehouse flow
• Monitor zones by foot patrols to ensure parking compliance and tidiness
• Detect and report on-ground service and product incidents
• Assist customers in the field with Lime vehicle support
• Follow safety procedures to ensure rider safety on vehicles
• May operate a pallet jack or push cart as needed
• Other related tasks as assigned
