Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Supervisor, Operations Skills Training – Enterprise Learning to lead the planning, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of technical training for our field workforce. You will supervise instructors across line, substation, transmission, relay, and other programs, ensuring safe, high‑quality instruction aligned with safety practices.

Qualifications

• Six years of related experience or eight years with an Associate degree in training supervision preferred.
• Strong leadership abilities with track record for accountability and talent development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to inform senior leadership and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop instructors and training staff across field disciplines.
• Oversee apprenticeship program safety, requirements, and scheduling.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain training personnel aligning with company needs.
• Manage workload, plans, and budgets for training delivery and centers.
