Job summary

Midas is seeking a Field Operations Representative (Touch of Gold) to work hands-on with store teams across the district. You will travel daily to locations up to 2 hours away, reconciling cash, tracking repair orders, and fixing issues on-site rather than just reporting them.

You may also serve as emergency backup manager, stepping in to run a store on short notice when managers are unavailable. This is a hands-on, multi-site role.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service, tire/auto retail, or multi-unit field operations.
• Comfort with hands-on shop and counter work, not just clipboard audits.
• Sharp with numbers; cash handling and reconciliation.
• Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel daily, including up to 2 hours each way.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Audit and reconcile cash, deposits, and drawer counts.
• Track down repair orders and vehicles that don't match up, and help close them out.
• Keep cores, returns, and parts inventory clean and accounted for.
• Monitor catalytic converter control and chase down anything missing.
• Check uniform, brand, and store-condition standards — and fix what you can onsite.
• Review vendor spend and inventory counts for accuracy.
• Step in as acting store manager when needed to keep a location running.

Field Operations Representative — Touch of Gold (Midas)

Touch of Gold, a Midas franchise operation, is hiring a Field Operations Representative to work hands-on with our store teams — not just report on them.

You'll travel daily to stores across the district (trips up to 2 hours one way) to reconcile cash, work repair orders, straighten out cores and returns, correct brand and store-condition issues, and handle maintenance items — fixing what you can while you're there instead of just writing it down. You'll also serve as our emergency backup manager, stepping in to run a store on short notice if a Store Manager or Assistant Manager calls out sick or is on vacation.
