Job summary

Touch of Gold, a Midas franchise operation, seeks a Field Operations Representative to work hands-on with our store teams. You’ll travel daily across the district to reconcile cash, manage repair orders, and ensure brand standards, acting as emergency backup manager when needed.

You’ll work in automotive service and multi-unit retail settings, using strong numerical skills and practical problem solving to keep stores running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service, tire/auto retail, or multi-unit field operations.
• Comfortable with hands-on shop and counter work.
• Strong numerical skills for cash handling and reconciliation.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily, up to 2 hours one way.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Audit and reconcile cash, deposits, and drawer counts.
• Track repair orders and vehicles that don’t match; help close them out.
• Keep cores, returns, and parts inventory clean and accounted for.
• Monitor catalytic converter control and chase down missing items.
• Check uniform, brand, and store-condition standards and fix onsite when possible.
• Review vendor spend and inventory counts for accuracy.
• Step in as acting store manager when needed to keep a location running.

Field Operations Representative — Touch of Gold (Midas)

Touch of Gold, a Midas franchise operation, is hiring a Field Operations Representative to work hands-on with our store teams — not just report on them.

You'll travel daily to stores across the district (trips up to 2 hours one way) to reconcile cash, work repair orders, straighten out cores and returns, correct brand and store-condition issues, and handle maintenance items — fixing what you can while you're there instead of just writing it down. You'll also serve as our emergency backup manager, stepping in to run a store on short notice if a Store Manager or Assistant Manager calls out sick or is on vacation.

What you'll do:
