Job summary

Touch of Gold is hiring a Field Operations Representative to work hands-on with store teams and travel daily to locations across the district. You’ll reconcile cash, work repair orders, straighten out cores and returns, correct brand and store-condition issues, and handle maintenance items—fixing what you can on site rather than just writing it down.

You’ll also serve as emergency backup manager, stepping in to run a store on short notice when a Store Manager or Assistant Manager calls out.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service, tire/auto retail, or multi-unit field operations.
• Hands-on shop and counter work, not just audits.
• Sharp with numbers: cash handling and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Audit and reconcile cash, deposits, and drawer counts.
• Track repair orders and vehicles that don’t match; help close them out.
• Keep cores, returns, and parts inventory clean and accounted for.
• Monitor catalytic converter controls and chase down missing items.
• Check uniform, brand, and store-condition standards and fix onsite when possible.
• Review vendor spend and inventory counts for accuracy.
• Step in as acting store manager when needed to keep a location running.

Touch of Gold, a Midas franchise operation, is hiring a Field Operations Representative to work hands‑on with our store teams - not just report on them.

You’ll travel daily to stores across the district (trips up to 2 hours one way) to reconcile cash, work repair orders, straighten out cores and returns, correct brand and store‑condition issues, and handle maintenance items - fixing what you can while you’re there instead of just writing it down. You’ll also serve as our emergency backup manager, stepping in to run a store on short notice if a Store Manager or Assistant Manager calls out sick or is on vacation.

What you’ll do:

What we’re looking for:

• Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel daily, including trips up to 2 hours one way
• Valid driver's license
• Flexible availability to cover a store on short notice
