The role emphasizes troubleshooting equipment, reinforcing safe work practices, and building technical skills to work safely and effectively in the field.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical or trades experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt material to different learning styles.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with field operations, mechanical, or skilled trades experience.
• Experience teaching, training, or explaining technical information in classroom, lab, or field.
• Current Operator Qualification status, or willingness to complete required training through National Fuel.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate clearly with groups.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver initial and refresher training, coordinate OQ schedules, and evaluate tasks for Field Operations.
• Develop and improve training materials, including presentations and demonstrations.
• Prepare training environments with proper equipment and materials.
• Use hands-on field experience to teach safe practices and procedures.
• Explain technical material clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
• Follow up with participants in the field to reinforce procedures.
