Job summary

ThompsonGas is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at their branch in Laytonville, California. The role involves managing product distribution, customer service, and vehicle maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have field experience in propane retail, a valid CDL, and strong leadership and communication skills. The position requires flexibility for evening hours and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Past field work in the propane and distillate retail business desired.
• Gas piping experience is highly preferred.
• Must have valid Hazardous Materials, Airbrakes and Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service-related scheduling and customer care.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance of vehicles and repairs.
• Design service processes including preparing work orders and dispatch activities.
