Job summary

PTI (Professional Transportation, Inc.) is hiring an Operations Manager for the Dilworth area. The role oversees field operations, coordinates day-to-day performance, and drives safety and service excellence across locations.

You will lead staffing, governance, and administrative functions, ensuring on-time, safe, and reliable crew transportation for railroad customers. A degree is preferred and supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Proficient in DriveCam, Trimble, and Crew software.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• At least 5 years of verifiable driving experience.
• Live within 30 minutes of the branch location.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to use GPS/technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote and practice safety awareness using the Positive Safety Culture safety model.
• Educate and instruct employees on required paperwork and deadlines.
• Coach drivers on events recorded through DriveCam technology.
• Ensure safety performance of the region/branches through safety policies.
• Provide information and pictures of PTI accidents to Safety and Risk.
• Conduct safety meetings and encourage staff to join the local safety committee.
• Complete driver observations, including ride-along road tests.
