Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for the Chattanooga area to lead multiple locations and drive safety, service, and operational excellence.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate field tasks, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs while upholding PTI’s safety culture and service standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a background in transportation operations and at least

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the branch location and be able to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for the PTI region and locations.
• Supervise and coach staff; manage scheduling, safety, and compliance.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Payroll, and Fleet to ensure trips are covered and equipment is maintained.
• Support staffing, training, and retention of drivers to meet customer needs.
